Summary:
The Womens Veterans Network Data Coordinator works under the guidance of the Executive Office of Veterans Services WVN Director. The Women Veterans Network Data Coordinator collects coordinates and executes and maintains the women veteran centric database. Receives direct supervision from the Women Veterans Network Director who provides guidance assigns work and reviews performance through conference calls daily contact reports for effectiveness and compliance with laws regulations and department policy.
Job Duties:
Primary responsibilities are to update and maintain a database of over 14500 women veterans.
May conduct aggressive research via informational websites and workshops public events and other mediums to expand membership in the Women Veterans network.
Respond to direct inquiries from women veterans to provide information referrals and establish linkages with supportive services.
Provide informational updates via email website and social network sites on services programs and events and newsletters.
Review website information relative to the WVN to ensure timely and accurate information is entered into the data collections system(s) .
Helps maintain WVN Twitter and Facebook sites and outreach programs through social media.
Receives and answers questions and inquiries from women veterans currently deployed overseas via social networks requesting benefit information etc.
Research other states women veterans sites and similar sites and links to pull into the WVN website.
Update for appeal and relevancy.
Research the potential for blogging WVN news on companys sites and to outside agencies.
Ensures all outreach team efforts and events are on appropriate websites.
Requirements:
Data oriented and tech. savvy
Comfortable with case managementlike technology
Excel and Access software competency highly desirable
