We are currently looking for a HV System Engineer (Emobility) to support one of our projects in Piedmont/Liguria.
Responsibilities: The HV System Engineer is accountable for high voltage architecture system & component requirements and the relative validation test plan testing procedure and qualification for prototyping and Proof of concept solution.
Principal subjects: HV components functions HV architectures HV components E/E integration project management planning risk assessment and management tracking
About you:
- Knowledge on high voltage components functionalities and HW specifications
- Define the performance and quality requirement at component level
- Define the high voltage component validation plan
- Analyse and tracing the component testing results in line with the validation plan
- Definition of the electric and electronic interfaces in collaboration with the suppliers and other team members for specific HV components
- Suppliers selection and management
- Basic knowledge on the Homologation requirements especially at component level
- Good knowledge on the electromechanical systems
- Attitude to work on different agricultural construction machinery applications and agricultural equipment
- Basic knowledge on the functional safety (ISO25119 ISO26262 ISO13849 and ISO15998) and safety culture in general (risks identification and analysis)
- knowledge of VModel development process phases and gates
- Knowledge of electric and hybrid driveline architectures
- Knowledge of electronic circuits and understanding of electric and electronic schematics
- Basic knowledge in CAN bus network management (Standard SAE J1939 / CAN 2.0B / Standard SAE J1939DA ISO 11783ISOBUS) and LIN communication protocol
- Computer skills:
- Windows operating systems
- Microsoft Office tools (Word Excel and PowerPoint)
- Microsoft Outlook
- Microsoft Project
- Professional tools skills: MS Visual Studio Polarion (or any other equivalent application lifecycle development tool).
Nice to have:
- Degree in Electrical Mechatronics Mechanical Automation Engineering or related discipline
- Proven working experience or attitude in the requested position
- Utilize established development tools methodologies guidelines and procedures
- Knowledge on the automotive and offroad machinery Safety Standard for electric and hybrid vehicles (ISO SAE ECE AEF IEC)
- Attitude to manage and report troubles and open issues at component level
- Basic knowledge in components diagnostic
- Knowledge on the component FMEA and system FMEA
- Capacity to create both the risk and the contingency plan
- Create maintain and store the test results (data management)
- Capacity to identify bugs and promote the relative corrective action plan
- Experience on vehicle ECUs application: flashing of the SW and diagnosis
- Experience on components test benches: management execution and planning
- Available for working sessions out of the usual working place and according to the location of the vehicles development site
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
