Job description for ServiceNow Portal Developer:
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement portals on the ServiceNow platform.
Experience in Configuration of Service Portal and custom widgets along with required workflows
and processes
Experience in Implementing designerprovided user interfaces
Experience in matching the UI from designs on various pages of a portal.
Designing configuring and customizing new applications and modules. Assisting in
troubleshooting patch / release management issues
Ensure performance scalability and reliability of the portals.
Design and develop responsive userfriendly portals that meet business requirements.
Work with clients and project teams to understand business requirements and develop robust
solutions.
Develop custom Mobile Applets along with features like bar code scans language translation for
mobile etc.
Serve as a ServiceNow technical subject matter expert.
Mentor and train junior developers in the team.
Stay uptodate with emerging ServiceNow technologies and industry trends.
Identify areas for process improvement and work collaboratively with project team and clients to
create and implement solutions.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in computer science Information Technology or related field.
5 years of experience in the design and development of ServiceNow portals.
Expertise in ServiceNow Service Portal development with a solid understanding of the ServiceNow
platform and architecture.
Experience in developing and deploying responsive design portals in line with user experience and
design principles.
Proficient in clientside scripting including AngularJS ReactJS or similar frameworks.
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
Excellent communication interpersonal and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
ServiceNow certifications (ServiceNow Certified Application Developer ServiceNow Certified
System Administrator etc.) are a plus
