Job Description

Position: CSRAdmin

Working Hours: 8am to 5pm Wed Sun (Florida Time Zone)

Salary Range: USD (Monthly)

Type of contract: Independent contractor

Scope of the Role

The Client Support Representative Admin role is designed to provide comprehensive customer service and administrative support for a beach chair rental business. This fulltime position operates primarily during the peak season from March through October with some responsibilities extending into the offseason. The role involves direct interaction with customers efficient handling of orders and supporting the overall operational needs of the business.


Duties and responsibilities:

  • Customer Service:
    • Answering phone calls from customers and providing information about beach chair rentals and related services.
    • Assisting customers in finding the closest beach locations using Google Maps.
    • Scheduling equipment rentals and appointments in the system using Shopify.
    • Sending email confirmations and communicating effectively with clients.
    • Handling approximately 30 calls per day during peak season.
  • Order Processing:
    • Processing customer orders accurately and efficiently using Shopify.
    • Tracking inventory and ensuring availability of rental equipment.
  • Administrative Support:
    • Performing basic administrative duties during the offseason.
    • Assisting with tasks for the marketing agency as needed (nontechnical).
    • Maintaining organized records and adhering to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and scripts.
  • Tech Savvy Tasks:
    • Utilizing various tech tools to streamline operations and improve customer service.
    • Adapting to new technologies and software as required.

Requirements:

  • Language Skills:
    • Outstanding spoken and written English with little to no accent.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in Shopify is highly desirable.
    • Strong ability to use Google Maps to provide customer directions.
    • General techsavviness and ability to learn new tools quickly.
  • Customer Service Experience:
    • Prior experience in a customer service role is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Administrative Skills:
    • Basic administrative skills and familiarity with standard office procedures.
    • Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and accurately.
  • Other:
    • Strong organizational and problemsolving skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work fulltime and adapt to seasonal workload fluctuations.
