Job Title: Chemical Laboratory Technician
Location: Mount Clemens MI 48043

Duration: 12 Months (Possible extension)

Shift: Monday to Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Payrate: $20 hourly

**Note:

• Schedule: The position operates on a Monday to Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Weekend overtime may be voluntary with the potential for mandatory shifts as necessary.

Description:

With guidance from supervision primary responsibility is to assist technical personnel in general laboratory operations and routine laboratory or information

handling tasks in support of scientific research.

Responsibilities:

• Perform tasks according to accepted methods and training prescribed by the work group.
• Conducting various quantitative and qualitative chemical analytical tests following established procedures.
• The role involves assisting higherlevel technicians in equipment setup and data recording for experiments.
• Familiarity with instrumentation for test preparation and execution is required.
• Additionally the Technician conducts routine safety checks and preventive maintenance on instruments.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
