Position: Board Certified/Board Eligible Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
Location: Lebanon PA
Duration: 6 months (can be extended for 2 more yrs)

Job Description:
VA Business Hours: Monday thru Friday 7:00 AM 3:30 PM. OnCall Services would also be required.
Clinic or Schedule: Daily 7:00 AM 3:30 PM weekdays and OnCall Coverage as needed.
1. Oncall CRNAs must be available at all times for phone consultations with VA providers and CRNAs.
2. Oncall providers must be available within 15 minutes by phone and onsite within 60 minutes.

Services Provided:
Shall provide Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) Services on site to beneficiaries of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and the Lebanon VAMC (LVAMC).
Shall provide services necessary to perform onsite Clinic and Surgical anesthesiology services including patients undergoing general surgery orthopedic including joint replacement plastic ENT urologic podiatric minor vascular Gynecology Endoscopy Dental/oral and ophthalmologic operations.

QUALIFICATIONS:
CRNA(s) who have current full and unrestricted licenses.
CRNA(s) shall be Board Certified /Board Eligible CRNA by the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA) and be currently certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or equivalency.

Technical Proficiency: CRNA(s) shall be technically proficient in the skills necessary to fulfill the governments requirements including the ability to speak understand read and write English fluently.

Training (ACLS BLS EHR and VA MANDATORY): Shall meet all VA educational requirements and mandatory course requirements defined herein; all training must be completed by the CRNA(s) as required by the VA. Other training may become required. VA will communicate any changes to the training requirement to the contractor.
