As a Controller & Credit Analyst you will play a key role in ensuring our financial integrity and operational excellence directly contributing to our growth and success in the dynamic US energy market.

What you will do:

Credit Risk (50%)

• Evaluate the creditworthiness of 3^rd party businesses by analyzing financial statements credit reports and other financial data
• Building and maintaining financial models including daily cashflow models financial and credit metrics etc.
• Monitor and analyze portfolio exposure identifying potential areas of concern and recommending appropriate risk mitigation strategies
• Stay updated on the energy industry trends an regulatory changes impacting credit decisions

Assist in Treasury Accounting and Taxation (50%)

• Manage Axpos credit facilities and relationships with local banks coordinating with Head of Finance and Group Treasury
• Assist in various Treasury functions such as issuing Standby Letters of Credit managing cashflows and payments etc.
• Assist Head of Finance in bookkeeping preparing financial statements and monthly forecasts
• Assist Head of Finance on all corporate state and local tax filing obligations

What you bring & who you are:

• Experience in the electricity industry in the US preferably in a finance role in energy retail
• Bachelor in Finance accounting or a related field. CFA or CPA preferable
• Strong analytical communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fastpaced growing environment.
