Position: Solution Architect

Location: Texas North Carolina Chicago (3 days a week hybrid)

Employment Type: Contract to Contract (C2C)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Solution Architect with deep expertise in microservices architecture Apache Kafka and MongoDB. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable and efficient solutions that meet business requirements and align with our technology strategy. You will collaborate closely with development teams stakeholders and other architects to ensure the successful delivery of highquality software solutions.

Primary Skills:

Microservices architecture Apache Kafka MongoDB Docker Kubernetes Spring Boot cloud platforms (AWS Azure Google Cloud) DevOps CI/CD.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design develop and implement scalable microservices architectures.

• Architect and manage highthroughput messaging systems using Apache Kafka.

• Design and optimize NoSQL databases particularly MongoDB for high performance and scalability.

• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

• Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams throughout the software development lifecycle.

• Conduct architectural reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and industry standards.

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to microservices Kafka and MongoDB.

• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation within the organization.

• Create and maintain architectural documentation including diagrams technical specifications and design patterns.

• Mentor and train junior architects and developers on best practices and new technologies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors or masters degree in computer science Information Technology or a related field.

• Proven experience as a Solution Architect with a focus on microservices Kafka and MongoDB.

• Strong proficiency in designing and implementing microservices architectures using technologies such as Docker Kubernetes and Spring Boot.

• Extensive experience with Apache Kafka including setup configuration tuning and monitoring.

• Deep understanding of MongoDB architecture including data modeling indexing sharding and replication.

• Solid programming skills in languages such as Java Python or Go.

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS Azure or Google Cloud.

• Strong understanding of DevOps practices and tools including CI/CD pipelines.

• Excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in Apache Kafka or MongoDB.

• Experience with other NoSQL databases like Cassandra or Redis.

• Familiarity with eventdriven architecture and realtime data processing.

• Knowledge of security best practices and experience with securing microservices and data.
