Job Description
Job Title: Assistant Manager Supplier Quality Improvement (SQI)
Education: Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) / DME
Experience: 35 Years

Requirement:
1. Maintaining suppliers database with updated records of performance. Preparing monthly score cards and sharing with suppliers
2. IATFawareness certified auditor will be a PLUS
3. Knowledge about manufacturing processes like machining stamping casting plastic moulding
4. Knowledge about special processes like Plating Heat Treatment
5. Problem solving and NC handling expert
6. Continual improvement approach
7. Should visit vendor facilities to ensure they uphold quality standards
8. Should create and promote strategies to increase the quality and efficiency of systems and products
9. Should ensure manufacturing processes comply with requirements and guidelines
10. Processoriented approach
11. Exposure to handling Tier2Tier3 suppliers
Functional Skills Requirement:
5 core tools
7QC tools
Command over communication skill
Should be well versed with APQP PPAP documentation and Change management
Manufacturing process & product auditing
Proficient in Excel PPT presentation
Leadership should be able to handle a team of engineers & technicians
