Duties and Responsibilities:

As a CRNA you will:

• Perform preanesthetic evaluations and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to prepare anesthesia plans.
• Deliver all forms of anesthesia and provide intra and postoperative care.
• Participate as a member of the Code Blue team providing emergency airway and resuscitation management.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and a safe care environment.
• Translate principles of professional nurse anesthesia practice into appropriate patient care.
• Communicate anesthetic risks benefits and alternatives to patients.
• Prepare the patient and procedural areas for the administration of anesthesia.
• Administer various forms of anesthesia with continuous patient evaluation.
• Manage postanesthetic care to optimize recovery and minimize pain.
• Ensure timely and accurate anesthesia record charting and documentation.
• Stay abreast of advancements in anesthesia techniques pharmacology and equipment.
• Respond to emergency situations with appropriate airway management and resuscitation procedure

• Current unrestricted license from a State Territory or Commonwealth of the U.S. or the District of Columbia.
• Minimum of two (2) years experience as a CRNA.
• Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia educational program.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Certification by the Council of Certification of Nurse Anesthetists.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English.

• Experience within the last 12 months with no employment gaps exceeding four months.
• Ability to work effectively in an interdisciplinary team environment.
• Strong communication and professional behavior skills.
