Job Description

Job Title: Lead Integration & Testing Engineer Control & Protection HVDC

Location: Charlotte North Carolina

Job Description:

  • BS degree in Electrical / OTHER with 9 years validated experience in substation design testing and commissioning
  • 3 years of experience in control and protection systems for HVDC systems as well as experience in project management
  • Work within a team of HVDC project management and engineering specialists and deliver HVDC control and protection solutions making use of a new transient network
  • Work with the Sub Project Manager and the project engineers as well as Plant Infrastructure teams
  • Analyses of the customer specification with focus on the technical requirements on the hardware in view of the variations from our standard the feasibility and the vital tests
  • Management of the software engineering and test cycle including quality gate reviews programmed management and coordination activities
  • Driving design related topics from early software concept development through manufacturing parametrization testing and customer acceptance
  • Ensuring the delivery of a functional hardware and software solution which follows the contractual requirements to the customer
