Job Description

SDE with Java AWS skillsets . Front end development Angular skills would be plus.

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience with Java web application development and Java web frameworks like spring boot. Experience with building deploying and running Java applications on AWS( ROSA and/or serverless ). Quarkus knowledge is a plus.

Understanding of building and deploying containerized applications specifically on OpenShift/Kubernetes platforms

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows to build and deploy applications

Ability to monitor applications through logs metrics and tracing in a Kubernetes environment

Troubleshooting skills for distributed containerized applications

Knowledge of API development best practices REST HTTP JSON security

Knowledge of API documentation standards like OpenAPI and ability to use tools like Swagger UI

Understanding of AWS Lambda and how to develop test and deploy Lambda functions written in Java.

Understanding of AWS services commonly used in serverless architectures like API Gateway DynamoDB SQS SNS Step Functions.

Monitoring and troubleshooting serverless applications using tools like AWS CloudWatch XRay CloudWatch Logs etc.
