Job Description

Main Duties and Responsibilities/Performance Standards:

  • Greet customers warmly take orders accurately and provide recommendations based on customer preferences and dietary restrictions.
  • offer the customers drink menus and answer their questions regarding ingredients
  • Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages including coffee espresso drinks tea and specialty drinks according to established recipes and quality standards.
  • Operate the machines coffee grinders and other equipment with precision and care.
  • Take orders while paying attention to details (e.g. preferences of coffee blend dairy and sugar ratios)
  • Prepare beverages following recipes
  • Serve beverages and prepared food like cookies pastries and muffins
  • Receive and process payments (cash and credit cards) in case required
  • Always to keep the counter area clean and neat
  • Maintain stock of service equipments cutleries & crockeries for the daily operation.
  • Assure that the equipment operates properly and report any maintenance needs
  • Comply with health and safety regulations
  • Communicate customer feedback to managers and recommend new menu items
  • Ensures safety standards (occupational and patient safety) are complied.
  • Performs miscellaneous jobrelated duties as assigned by the Direct Reporting Authority.
  • Ensures quality and patient safety practices are followed.
  • Provides or promotes people centered care.
  • Promotes inclusive health by providing equitable and accessible care to patients and families with special needs.

Qualifications Competencies and Skills

Education: High school diploma; relevant training is a plus.

Experience:

  • 12years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly and outgoing personality.
  • Ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on providing a memorable experience for every guest.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts including weekends and holidays.

Language: Speaks English

Computer Proficiency: Good computer skills

Performance Competencies:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to interact and communicate with people over the telephone often in stressful situations.
  • Skill in the use of personal computers and related software applications.
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems.
