Main Duties and Responsibilities/Performance Standards:
- Greet customers warmly take orders accurately and provide recommendations based on customer preferences and dietary restrictions.
- offer the customers drink menus and answer their questions regarding ingredients
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages including coffee espresso drinks tea and specialty drinks according to established recipes and quality standards.
- Operate the machines coffee grinders and other equipment with precision and care.
- Take orders while paying attention to details (e.g. preferences of coffee blend dairy and sugar ratios)
- Prepare beverages following recipes
- Serve beverages and prepared food like cookies pastries and muffins
- Receive and process payments (cash and credit cards) in case required
- Always to keep the counter area clean and neat
- Maintain stock of service equipments cutleries & crockeries for the daily operation.
- Assure that the equipment operates properly and report any maintenance needs
- Comply with health and safety regulations
- Communicate customer feedback to managers and recommend new menu items
- Ensures safety standards (occupational and patient safety) are complied.
- Performs miscellaneous jobrelated duties as assigned by the Direct Reporting Authority.
- Ensures quality and patient safety practices are followed.
- Provides or promotes people centered care.
- Promotes inclusive health by providing equitable and accessible care to patients and families with special needs.
Qualifications Competencies and Skills
Education: High school diploma; relevant training is a plus.
Experience:
- 12years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly and outgoing personality.
- Ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on providing a memorable experience for every guest.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts including weekends and holidays.
Language: Speaks English
Computer Proficiency: Good computer skills
Performance Competencies:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to interact and communicate with people over the telephone often in stressful situations.
