Responsibilities:

Prepare review revise and maintain technical documents encompassing software systems engineering system operations testing and user documentation.
Write and edit technical documentation for all project hardware and software including installation configuration and howto guides.
Create code documentation for software and produce implementation and enduser guides for capabilities.
Provide field data definition and data flow documentation and format technical publications from various sources.
Assist in preparing and maintaining operations documentation user guides manuals and technical publications.
Gather technical information and prepare written text.
Maintain a current internal documentation library.
Utilize multiple word processing and presentation tools such as MS Word PowerPoint and Visio.
Collaborate with developers to produce quality documentation and training materials.
Work on all phases of documentation.
Prepare reports responses and briefings tailored to various audiences.
Coordinate layout and design of documents.
Demonstrate attention to detail poise with grammar and its application and interpretation of technical terminology during meetings and planning sessions.
Orient oneself and maintain situational awareness of an IT environment identifying differentiating factors and technical terms relevant to building nextgeneration IT services.

Qualifications:

Two (2) years of experience as a TW in programs and contracts of similar scope type and complexity required.
Associates degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university required.
Additional two (2) years of TW experience may substitute for an Associates degree.
