Heres what youll be doing:
- Providing sensitive care and support to children of all ages including nappy changing feeding and toileting routines.
- Planning and delivering engaging activities that promote physical cognitive social and emotional development aligning with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Observing and assessing childrens progress maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with room staff.
- Building positive relationships with parents and carers keeping them informed about their childs progress.
- Adapting to different classroom routines and age groups demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to learn.
- Contributing to the overall health and safety of the nursery environment.
Work with a variety of nurseries across Leeds:
- Experience diverse settings and age groups through placements at our partner nurseries throughout the city.
- Choose shifts that suit your availability with a minimum of 8 hours per week (1 shift).
Requirements
Level 2 or 3 qualification in Early Years Education or a related field (or actively working towards a recognized qualification).
Minimum of 3 months experience working in a nursery setting (if no formal qualification).
A genuine passion for working with children and fostering their development.
Strong communication interpersonal and organizational skills.
The ability to work effectively within a team and adapt to different environments.
