About the Job:

An opportunity has arisen for a Purchasing Manager role to join Jumeirah Gulf of Bahrain Family. The purpose of this role is to support the business SupplyChain & Logistics strategy and delivery in administrative and statistical tasks.

Duties and responsibilities of this role:

• Preparation of statistical reports in timely manner.
• Liaising effectively with external customers to maintain healthy business relationships and get necessary support for SBU and SSU functions.
• Ensuring that SC&L policies and process are adhered to by all internal customers.
• Doing comprehensive analytical review and propose saving opportunities for the business.
• Should conduct market survey and share the market price trend with the business to ensure cost savings.
• Attend required training session as requested by the line manager.
• Adhere to Jumeriahs Guiding Principles and Hallmarks and to promote them to colleagues on a constant basis always leading by example.
• Communicate in a professional positive courteous manner at all times with all levels of internal and external customers.
• Handle confidential matters/ information with the appropriate level of sensitivity.

About You:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

• Post Graduate or Masters in Material Management
• 5 years of experience working in procurement functions.
• At least 3 years experience working in a 5star luxury property.
• Good analytical skills good negotiator.
• Thorough communications and interaction skills
• High level of written and verbal business English
