Environmental Scientist

This is a fulltime role based in Lockland OH.

• Assist with the environmental and safety operations
  
• Assist with the compliance reporting & record keeping
  
• Research environmental sustainability issues or concerns
  
• Enforcement of Sustainability & Environmental Policy Procedures Plans Programs
  
• Monitor report and evaluate effectiveness of sustainability program implementations.
  
• Internal and external compliance audits
  
• Conduct Corrective Actions and Preventive Actions resulting from nonconformances
  
• Update Vendor Audits
  

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Previous experience with sustainability is required
  
• Previous experience in the Manufacturing Industry is required
  
• Knowledge of environmental science and greenhouse gas offset (CO2e) measurement methods and theories.
  
• Previous experience with EPA OSHA and DOT
  
• Hazard recognition
  
• Computer skills
  

MustHave:

• Manufacturing Industry experience
  
• Environmental Scientist experience
  
• Greenhouse Gas Offset knowledge
  

Nice to Have:

• Associates degree is preferred
  
• EPA OSHA & DOT experience
  
• Textile experience
  

Additional info:

• Work schedule is 4 10 hour days
  
• They have a good environment. I have spoken with both of the managers that would be overseeing the environmental scientist and they seem easy to work with! They ve also grown a lot in the past few years as company!
