Manages all network engineers group tasks and technology initiatives.
Manages new hardware and software required for the computer network in use.
Manage all system backup and restore and control protocols as part of the Network Engineering function.
Planning supporting network and computing infrastructural requirements.
Perform advanced troubleshooting analysis of servers workstations and associated systems in the network environment.
Reviews documented network problems and resolutions for future reference.
Reviews network performance and approve performance tuning.
Requires advanced and thorough knowledge of computer networking essentials advanced routing and switchingCollaborate within the IT department or other departments on network securityrelated items and any other duties as assigned by the IT network manager.
Requirements
Bachelor s Degree or higher in Information Technology Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent.
Willing to work on extended hours
CCNP is a must.
Advanced Knowledge of Data communications IP and Network management and monitoring tools.
In depth knowledge of the following IP routing MPLS IPSec S2S VPN TCP/IP EIGRP BGP OSPF VoIP multicast and QoS HSRP.
Indepth Working knowledge of LAN Switching (L2 L3) including VLANs Private VLANs Trunking Etherchannel VTP and Spanning Tree is required.
Excellent handson experience and knowledge implementing configuring integrating and supporting the network monitoring tools including Cisco DNA Solarwind and Netscout Packet Analyzer.
Familiarity with access control models and network security.
Attention to detail and good problemsolving skills.
At least five (5) years of experience in the same capacity.
Solid experience in network administration and architecture.
Nice to have experience in F5 Load Balancer Bandwidth manager and fluke testers.
Advanced experience in handling a wide array of Cisco platforms like routers switches WLAN controllers and ACI.
