Senior Data Privacy Analyst

About The Role

We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Senior Data Privacy Analyst to join our growing team and play a key role in safeguarding our companys data privacy practices.

In this critical role you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive data privacy programs ensuring compliance with evolving regulations and minimizing data privacy risks.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of a robust data privacy program aligned with industry best practices and applicable regulations (e.g. GDPR CCPA).
• Conduct thorough data privacy impact assessments to identify and mitigate potential risks associated with data collection processing and storage.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive data privacy policies and procedures.
• Oversee data subject access requests (DSARs) and ensure timely and compliant responses.
• Manage vendor relationships and ensure thirdparty data processing agreements comply with data privacy regulations.
• Stay uptodate on the latest data privacy regulations and industry trends and advise stakeholders on potential implications.
• Conduct regular data privacy training sessions for employees to raise awareness and promote compliance.
• Partner with IT security teams to ensure data security measures support data privacy objectives.
• Monitor and audit data privacy practices to ensure ongoing compliance.
• Investigate potential data privacy breaches and incidents implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Document data privacy processes and procedures clearly and concisely.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Information Security Data Privacy Law or a related field (or equivalent experience and proven achievements).
• Minimum of 810 years of experience in data privacy analysis or a related role.
• Indepth knowledge of data privacy regulations (e.g. GDPR CCPA) and compliance requirements.
• Strong understanding of data security best practices and their intersection with data privacy.
• Experience with data mapping and data lifecycle management.
• Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to identify and address data privacy risks.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams (legal IT product marketing).
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
