Position Summary:
As a significant member of the DPSCDs Technology Division the Project Coordinator is responsible for supporting the planning execution and completion of IT Field Services and Asset Management projects. This role involves coordinating various tasks managing schedules and communicating with stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively in a fastpaced environment.
Minimum Qualifications:
23 years of experience in project coordination or management preferably in IT or asset management.
Familiarity with IT asset management principles and best practices.
Skills:
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Attention to detail and problemsolving abilities.
Working Conditions:
May require occasional travel to other DPSCD locations. No mileage reimbursement. The site the candidate is visiting for the day is where they still stay that day.
Essential Functions:
Assist in the development and maintenance of project plans timelines and schedules.
Coordinate project activities resources and information to ensure project deliverables are met.
Collaborate with team members to allocate tasks and monitor project progress.
Maintain accurate records of IT assets including acquisition deployment maintenance and disposal.
Serve as the primary point of contact for projectrelated communications.
Prepare and distribute regular project status reports to stakeholders.
Monitor and report on project risks and issues escalating as necessary.
Ensure all project documentation is complete accurate and stored appropriately.
Assist in audits and compliance activities related to IT asset management.
Participate in postproject evaluations to capture lessons learned and recommend improvements.
