Job Description

Job Purpose/Summary:

Plays a crucial role in identifying and implementing opportunities to enhance the efficiency, profitability, and sustainability of our oil and gas value chain. Works closely with cross-functional teams to analyze, design, and implement solutions that optimize various stages of the value chain, from exploration and production to distribution.

Job Accountabilities/ Responsibilities:

  • Process Optimization: Collaborate with engineering, operations, and supply chain teams to optimize processes and workflows across all stages of the value chain, including exploration, drilling, production, and distribution.
  • Technology Evaluation: Stay abreast of emerging technologies and best practices in the oil and gas industry, and assess their potential to enhance value chain efficiency and sustainability.
  • Data Analysis: Utilize data analytics and visualization tools to analyze large datasets and extract actionable insights that drive optimization initiatives.
  • Performance Monitoring: Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and monitoring systems to track the effectiveness of optimization initiatives and identify areas for continuous improvement.
  • Analyzing Value Chain: Conduct comprehensive analyses of the entire oil and gas value chain to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and opportunities for optimization.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, supply chain, finance, and HSSE, to align optimization efforts with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • And other duties as assigned by your supervisor.

Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering/Science, Information Technology, Informatics Engineering or accepted related fields.

Experience:

5 years or more experience in engineering, information technology, or data analytics

Skills:

Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

Understanding of core engineering concepts and principles

Strong interpersonal skills, including teamwork and positive relationship building.

Strong leadership and project management skills

Excellent problem-solving skills

Working knowledge of consulting and project lifecycles

Strong communication skills - both verbal and written, at all levels of an organization.

Excellent oral and written communication.

Experience in writing functional and technical specifications.

Ability to multi-task and strong attention to detail Strong interpersonal, teamwork and human relations skills.

Customer focus.

Must be familiar with relevant international technical standards and procedures.
