We are looking for a Naval Architect Marine Engineerto work with an important Philippines company.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed designs and plans for marine vessels offshore structures and related equipment.
- Utilize computeraided design (CAD) software and simulation tools to analyze and optimize designs for performance stability and safety.
- Conduct structural analysis including finite element analysis (FEA) to ensure structural integrity and evaluate the impact of external forces such as waves wind and currents.
- Design and optimize propulsion systems including engines propellers thrusters and control systems to achieve efficient and reliable performance while meeting regulatory requirements.
- Study the behavior of ships and marine structures in water including resistance stability seakeeping and maneuvering characteristics.
- Use computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and model testing to evaluate and improve hydrodynamic performance.
- Select appropriate materials and construction methods considering factors such as corrosion resistance fatigue and structural strength.
- Oversee the construction process to ensure compliance with design specifications and regulatory standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Naval Architecture Marine Engineering Mechanical Engineering or related field (Masters degree preferred).
- Proven experience in marine vessel design offshore structures or related fields.
- Proficiency in computeraided design (CAD) software and simulation tools.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to conduct structural analysis and optimize designs.
- Knowledge of propulsion systems and regulatory requirements for emissions and fuel consumption.
- Familiarity with computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and finite element analysis (FEA).
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
