Job Description:
Position Summary: The EntryLevel Event Assistant will support the Event Planning team in the coordination and execution of various events. This role involves a variety of tasks including administrative duties vendor coordination onsite event support and postevent followup. The ideal candidate is highly organized enthusiastic and eager to learn about the event planning industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning and execution of events including corporate meetings weddings conferences and social gatherings.
- Coordinate with vendors suppliers and venues to ensure timely delivery of services and products.
- Support the Event Planning team with administrative tasks including answering phones scheduling meetings and managing email correspondence.
- Participate in site visits and assist with event setup and breakdown.
- Help manage event logistics such as registration attendee checkin and seating arrangements.
- Conduct postevent evaluations to gather feedback and assist in the preparation of event reports.
- Maintain inventory of event supplies and materials.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Event Manager or Senior Event Planner.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fastpaced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook).
- Flexibility to work evenings weekends and holidays as needed.
