Additional information: The candidate should be able to provide an ID if the interview is requested. The candidate interviewing must be the same individual who will be assigned to work with our client.
Requirements:
Availability to work 2 days/week at the Clients site in Tallahassee FL (required);
Experience as a software architect or lead developer (15 years);
Experience working with development technologies including Microsoft .NET (C# VB.NET) ASP.NET/MVC WCF/Web API ASP.NET Web Forms JavaScript frameworks (Angular Knockout and others) REST XML JSON HTML and CSS;
Experience in ObjectOriented Programming;
Experience in Azure SQL Server and TSQL;
Experience in architecting stateoftheart cloudbased applications leveraging PaaS (Platform as a Service) and IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service) offerings for leading vendors such as Microsoft Azure.
Experience with Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS);
Experience with Dimensional Modeling including knowledge of key concepts used in star schemas;
Experience with development methodologies including waterfall and agile;
Experience with financial systems such as PeopleSoft ERP;
Experience in coordinating with Business Analysts to capture business requirements;
Preferred:
Experience with Azure cloud architecting;
Experience with the Florida Accounting Information Resource (FLAIR) system and budget management.
Experience with mainframe computer systems and supporting software such as Customer Information Control System (CICS) Time Sharing Option (TSO) and Interactive System Productivity Facility (ISPF).
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Perform indepth analysis of the existing inventory of assets to determine remediation or modernization approach.
Produce endstate solution mockups based on analysis of modernization approach for applications and reports.
Provide architecture guidance on stateoftheart technical configurations and provide oversight to quality assurance on all code enhancements.
Design and implement stateoftheart applications to support OWPB and other direct stakeholders.
Triage and address maintenance and enhancement requests for applications owned by OWPB.
Provide handson support to peers coach guide and mentor others in accomplishing architecture design and implementation goals.
Drive continuous modernization; may include design definition of roadmaps standardization of processes and methodologies; collaborate with other developers and architects to drive guidelines methodologies and documentation
