Video Editor Intern WFH

Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit and assemble recorded raw material into a suitable finished product ready for broadcasting
• Input and synchronize music dialogue and sound effects
• Create rough and final cuts
• Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running
• Consult with stakeholders from production to postproduction process
• Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industrys best practices to maximize efficiency
• Review shooting script and raw material to create a shot decision list based on scenes value and contribution to continuity
• Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the film
• Input music dialogues graphics and effects
• Create rough and final cuts
• Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running
• Work with stakeholders to understand their content needs
• Collaborate with the creative and marketing teams to brainstorm and develop creative concepts
• Manage and oversee all technical aspects of video editing and postproduction
• Manage and maintain an organized library of footage and digital assets

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in film studies cinematography or related field
• Proven work experience as a video editor
• Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio
• Thorough knowledge of timing motivation and continuity
• Familiarity with special effects 3D and compositing
• Strong creative thinking and problemsolving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro Final Cut Pro etc.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages
• Knowledge of the latest editing techniques
• Ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines
• Good communication skills both written and verbal
• Strong understanding of video formats codecs and delivery methods
