Overview

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive medical evaluations and diagnoses for patients.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Monitor and manage inpatient and outpatient medical cases.
• Interpret diagnostic tests and investigations.
• Provide expert medical consultations to patients and families.
• Participate in medical rounds and case discussions.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals for integrated patient care.
• Ensure compliance with medical standards and protocols.
• Contribute to quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
• Participate in medical research publications and presentations.
• Supervise and mentor medical staff and students.
• Conduct health education and awareness programs.
• Contribute to departmental policies and procedures.
• Participate in oncall duties as required.

Required qualifications

• MD/DNB in General Medicine from a recognized institution.
• Valid medical license to practice as a Consultant.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a hospital setting.
• Extensive knowledge of internal medicine and subspecialties.
• Proficiency in medical record documentation and EMR systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong clinical judgment and decisionmaking abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to continuous professional development.
• Uptodate knowledge of medical guidelines and best practices.
• Empathy and compassion towards patients and their families.
• Adherence to ethical and professional standards.
