Requirements

• Education: HBO/WO level or equivalent thinking level.
• Experience: 5 years in developing and maintaining APIs.
• Skills:
  • Proven track record in designing and developing RESTful and SOAP web services.
  • Indepth knowledge of web technologies including HTTP XML/JSON web security and authentication/authorization protocols.
  • Solid understanding of relational and NoSQL databases.
  • Handson experience with cloud services (AWS GCP Azure).
  • Proficient in at least one scripting language (e.g. Python Java Ruby).
  • Strong problemsolving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced environment.

Role Description

We are seeking an experienced API Developer to join our team and help build a robust and reliable API infrastructure. As an API Developer you will design and develop RESTful APIs to provide access to our core services and data.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Creating detailed API documentation with code examples and usage guidelines.
• Developing API client libraries.
• Monitoring API performance and stability.
• Collaborating with developers product managers and other stakeholders to understand customer needs and provide solutions.

You will also develop and maintain automated tests for APIs using frameworks like Mocha JUnit and REST Assured. Additionally youll offer technical guidance and mentorship to other developers in the team.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate has a strong background in API design Python and JavaScript. You will be responsible for designing and developing APIs maintaining documentation and providing technical support to our internal and external customers. You will optimize our current APIs create new endpoints and ensure our APIs are secure and compliant with industry standards. Collaboration with other teams such as product engineering and design will be key to the successful implementation of our APIs.
