Chief Executive Officer

Job Description

The CEO will manage the establishment of a new entity in Bahrain and all tasks related to brokerage services, and regulatory compliance with the regulations of Bahrain. In addition, the CEO will oversee the daily operational transactions, design and implement strategies to increase the branch's profitability, and expand the client's portfolio while providing high-quality service.

Key Accountabilities

- Oversee the establishment of a new entity in Bahrain, including but not limited to legal and regulatory compliance, office setup, hiring of staff, and coordination with relevant stakeholders.

- Set the entity strategy and follow-up on the progress of the target plan

- Maintain a constructive relationship with existing clients and ensure providing them an exceptional service

- Follow up on identifying potential sales opportunities and manage sales cycle to close new businesses in all service categories

- Get acquainted with all products and services to properly and professionally handle the management of employee’s performance

- Act as the public speaker and public relations representative of the company in ways that strengthen its profile

- Build an effective team of leaders by providing guidance and coaching to subordinate managers

- Ensure adherence of the company’s daily activities and long-term plans to established policies and legal guidelines

- Forge and maintain relations of trust with shareholders, partners and external authorities

- Research and evaluate different risk factors regarding business decisions and operations.

- Liaise with sales managers to ensure that quotas are being met and company standards are being upheld

- Assess local market conditions and identify current and prospective sales opportunities

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor degree in Economics, Business Administration or any other related field (MBA is a plus)

.

Previous experience of 10+ years in the field or any other related field is requested

.

Extensive experience and a strong understanding of brokerage services, both local and international, in Bahrain.

Expertise in dealing with regulatory authorities, particularly the CAMS of Bahrain.

.

Knowledge in establishing new entities.

Note: Previous experience in brokerage services, and familiarity with CAMS regulations in Bahrain are highly valued for this role
