Job Summary: Seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Analyst cum Data Engineer with experience in the banking domain. The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in SQL JSON Big Query Cloud Data Fusion with Data Wrangler data modelling with transformations and data broker tools. This role demands a combination of business analysis and data engineering skills emphasizing datadriven decisionmaking to enhance banking operations and services.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Analysis and Business Intelligence:

1. Collaborate with banking stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into datadriven solutions.
2. Analyze complex banking datasets to extract actionable insights and support decisionmaking processes.
3. Develop and maintain visualizations using SQL and BigQuery tailored for banking operations.

Data Engineering and Integration:

1. Design develop and implement data pipelines and transform data from various banking systems.
2. Utilize Cloud Data Fusion and Data Wrangler for seamless data integration and transformation tasks.
3. Ensure data accuracy quality and consistency across different banking data sources and systems.

Data Modeling and Transformation:

1. Create and maintain data models to support business analytics and reporting needs in the banking sector.
2. Perform data transformations using SQL and other data wrangling tools to meet bankingspecific requirements.
3. Collaborate with data architects and other engineers to design and optimize data storage solutions tailored for banking data.

API and Microservices*: (Good to have)

1. Experience with APIs and microservices to enhance data accessibility and functionality within banking applications.
2. Work with development teams to ensure seamless integration of data services with banking platforms.
3. Monitor and optimize the performance of APIs and microservices to ensure efficient data processing and retrieval.

Technical Expertise:

1. Develop and optimize SQL queries for data extraction transformation and loading specific to banking data.
2. Work with JSON data formats for data interchange and processing within banking applications.
3. Utilize BigQuery for banking data warehousing and advanced analytics.
4. Implement best practices in data engineering and ensure compliance with data governance and security standards in the banking industry.

Collaboration and Communication:

1. Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including data scientists business analysts and IT professionals to deliver integrated data solutions for banking.
2. Effectively communicate complex technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders in the banking domain.
3. Provide training and support to users on data tools and best practices in the banking industry.

Qualifications:

Technical Skills:

1. Proficiency in SQL and experience with BigQuery.
2. Strong knowledge of JSON and its applications in data processing.
3. Experience with Cloud Data Fusion and Data Wrangler.
4. Expertise in data modeling and transformations.
5. Familiarity with data broker concepts and tools.

Domain Knowledge:

1. Deep understanding of banking operations regulations and data requirements.
2. Experience with bankingspecific datasets and data analysis techniques.
