Job Title: Family Medicine/Internal Medicine Physician

Location: Lake Charles LA area

Salary: $340k bonus Sign on of 50k

We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Family Medicine/Internal Medicine Physician to join our dynamic team.

Position Overview: As a Family Medicine/Internal Medicine Physician at our rural hospital you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive medical care to our patients. You will have the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment with a supportive team of healthcare professionals including medical assistants nurse practitioners and licensed practical nurses. Responsibilities:

• Provide highquality primary care services to patients of all ages including preventive care diagnosis treatment and management of acute and chronic conditions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans that address the unique needs of each patient.
• Utilize the CPSI Rural Health Medical Record system to maintain accurate and uptodate medical records and documentation.
• Work closely with medical assistants nurse practitioners and licensed practical nurses to optimize patient care and workflow efficiency.
• Participate in oncall rotation (13) with rounding on patients during the day with minimal call requirements due to ER physician coverage after 5pm.
• Actively participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing medical education to stay abreast of best practices and advancements in primary care.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Medical degree from an accredited medical school and board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
• Active and unrestricted medical license to practice in the state of Louisiana.
• Excellent clinical skills and a commitment to providing compassionate and patientcentered care.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a teambased environment.
• Willingness to embrace technology and adapt to electronic medical record systems.
• Desire to work in a rural healthcare setting and make a meaningful impact on the health and wellbeing of our community.
