Job Description:
Position Overview:
- The Senior Payroll Analyst is responsible for proactive collaboration with customer and key internal business partners and for ensuring consistently timely and highquality processing of payroll.
- The Senior Payroll Analyst ensures the timely and accurately delivery of payroll processing in compliance with all laws and regulations as well as provides accounting and reporting support.
- This role will include review of legislative contractual and policy driven changes the impact on integrations and the implementation of appropriate changes.
- The individual must be highly motivated and a selfstarter has a customerfirst mindset and work effectively as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the accurate and timely processing analyzing of payroll related transactions in compliance with the company policies and all federal state and local laws and regulations; assist in quarter end and year end activities
- Responsible for compliance with payroll related internal controls and maintaining and improving internal control procedures and processes; maintain process documentations and procedures to ensure accuracy effectiveness and reliability of the established payroll processes and controls
- Perform payroll system testing for patches enhancements and upgrades to validate expected functionality as designed; recommend and implement system and procedural improvements
- Initiate lead and/or actively participate in special projects that meet the needs of customers
- Crosstrain with other team members to assure adequate coverage accurate and consistent information and timeliness of processing; provide training to team members
- Analysis and validation of payroll processing results using technology reports and macros
- Assists in transitions in mergers acquisitions and divestitures including but not limited to analysis of payroll impacts as needed for the domestic and international payrolls.
- Support for payroll system testing implementation.
Other projects and tasks as assigned by manager.
Required Knowledge/Skills:
- 5 years of experience in all aspects of payroll including supporting payroll system implementation
- Excellent attention to details and analytical skills
- Ability to meet critical deadlines manage priorities and workflow and work effectively in a fastpaced team environment.
- Advanced Excel level proficient with all Office applications
- Experience with Oracle HCM Cloud or ERP systems highly preferred
