Job Overview:
As an Accounts Payable Officer you will play a vital role in managing the financial transactions of our organization. Your primary responsibilities will include accurately processing invoices reconciling payments handling supplier inquiries and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. Additionally you will support internal stakeholders and contribute to ongoing process improvements within the accounts payable function.
Job Description:
Entering invoices into Expense Manager
Securing authorization for all incoming invoices as per purchase and approval
Reconciling all payments in ERP.
Handling supplier queries via phone and email
Handling Internal Stakeholders enquiries procedure.
Posting incoming accounts into ERP taking into consideration cost center and appropriate expense account allocation.
Following up recurring supplier invoices to ensure entries are recorded within respective expense period.
Processing consumable invoices in accordance with budgetary controls and goal plans for HCP clients
Assist complaints/ general issues from clients and advise on improvements for system process and internal process
Assistance in handling the client enquiries
Other assistance with reconciliations and reporting when required
Ongoing process improvement
Requirements
Good oral and written communication skills
Aptitude for working with computers with knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of programs including basic understanding and skills in Word and Excel.
Experience with ERP is an advantage
Able to work methodically accurately and neatly
Sound organizational and problem solving skills
Ability to show initiative and work with minimal supervision
Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Able to act with tact and discretion maintaining privacy and confidentiality
Welldeveloped selfmanagement abilities including time management and work practices
Strong conceptual skills including the ability for analysis and problem solving.
Capacity to manage finances including risk minimization compliance and reporting requirements
