Location: Hamilton ON & Dundas ON
Facility: Community Clinic
Rate: $32/hr
Shift : 7am 7pm and 7pm7am
Certification Required:
Skilled Trade Certificate in Basic and Advanced Foot Care or similar experience
Role and Responsibilities
- Performs initial and ongoing assessment of the residents needs;
- Develop revise and implement the resident care profiles;
- Order administer and store medications and treatments in compliance with the policies of the facility pharmacy and standards of the College of Nurses;
- Provide direct patient care
- Practice under the CNO standards
- Follow facility policies and procedures
- Provide direct patient care in a hospital setting
- Practice under the College of Nurses standards
Qualifications
- Registered Practical Nurse Diploma from an accredited institution.
- BLS/ACLS & eCTAS Certification an asset.
- Seniors home longterm care and/or hospital experience an asset.
- Active Certificate of Competence with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- Availability to work shifts: days/evenings/nights and weekends as required.
- Proficient technical skills to include but not limited to: MS Word and email.
- Able to work independently and in a team environment.
- Strong interpersonal/communication & organizational skills Effective problemsolving and conflict management skills.
- Proof of current immunization for measles mumps rubella and varicella (MMRV).
- Proof of negative TB skin test within the past one (1) year or negative chest xray within the past five (5) years.
- Current N95 Mask Fit Test Certification.
