Job Description

The Technical Sales Manager operates on the cross lines of the Project Management and Sales teams. He/she reports to the ManagerTechnical Sales Europe and works closely together with the Regional Sales ManagerItaly.

The Technical Sales Manager has a thorough understanding anddemonstrable experience of all stages of project management with a focus on defining the project scope and customer requirements. The Technical Sales Manager will also give support to the sales team by maintaining a collaborative relationship with the customers and by giving assistance during the tender process.

Main responsibilities:

Defining the requirements and scope of all projects within Italian Market;
Coordinating with Technical Sales team in China to ensure requirements and design review are performed within the defined project timeline;
Provide support during tender process.

Daily tasks:

Develop a trusted collaborative partnership with the customers;
Ensure requirements flow to all internal stakeholders and customers;
Responsible for managing customer expectations and scope change requests;
Assist the tender team in drafting and submitting bids for tenders in Italy.

    Required skills qualifications and experience:

    10years of experience as Requirements Engineer / Manager or similar roles with proven successful records of managing customers of varying sizes in parallel;
    Solid knowledge of the automotive preferably the EBus market;
    Strong and effective written verbal and interpersonal communication skills in English and Italian. Mandarin is advantageous but not mandatory.
    Proactive and collaborative approach to problem solving;

    Bachelors degree in electrical or electronics engineering or similar;
    Demonstrated experience in working with an international team;
    Must be teamoriented possess a positive attitude and work well with others;
    Willingness to travel for business purposes.

    Relevant experience in similar B2B sectors;
    Other European language skills;
    Experience with High Tech Startup / Electric Vehicles / Alternative Energy / Batteries.
