This role requires a strong understanding of regulatory requirements quality standards and process management along with a passion for sustainability and environmental protection.

Tasks

Role & Responsibilities

In this role you operate as the interface between procurement logistics and engineering:

• Develop and implement quality assurance policies procedures and standards for consistency and compliance throughout the organization.
• Ensure that the organization complies with relevant regulations and certifications such as the ISOcertification REACH or waste licence.
• Maintain accurate records of quality tests inspections and corrective actions. Prepare reports and presentations to communicate performance metrics and trends to management and stakeholders.
• Plan and supervise internal and external audits e.g. from suppliers certifications or clients.
• Provide training and support to employees on quality standards safety procedures and best practices. Foster a culture of safety awareness and continuous improvement throughout the organization.
• You are open to acquiring further qualifications that are beneficial both for you and the company.

Requirements

Your qualification

• Qualification: Masters degree in Environmental Science and any related Engineering or other field
• Experience: 13 years of experience in a quality management compliance or occupational health and safety role preferably in the recycling or environmental industry.
• KnowHow: Strong understanding of regulatory requirements & compliance standards as well as experience with conducting audits inspections and risk assessments.
• People Skills: Excellent communication and problemsolving skills with the ability to motivate and align teams towards common goals dealing with change and adversity.
• Entrepreneurial Spirit: Ability to handle the flexibility and fast changes of a startup environment.
• Passion: A strong passion for sustainability and driving positive environmental impact through innovation.
• Languages: Native in German and fluency in English are required.
• Plus Points: Holding relevant certifications like Certified Safety Professional (CSP) Abfallbeauftragter or similar are a plus.
