Job Description

Seeking an autonomous leadership role as CFO for an exclusive client based in Fresno. This ag and manufacturing company operates 10 entities across 9 states and 1 international location. The position offers significant upside with an attractive bonus structure and comprehensive benefits. Candidates must possess experience in banking cost management inventory and compliance. Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Strategy and Leadership:

    • Develop and execute financial strategies to support the companys growth and profitability goals.
    • Provide strategic recommendations to the CEO and executive team on financial matters.
    • Oversee financial forecasting budgeting and longterm financial planning.
  • Financial Operations:

    • Manage the companys financial operations including accounting treasury and tax functions.
    • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and compliance with regulatory requirements.
    • Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets.
  • Banking and Financial Relationships:

    • Maintain strong relationships with banks investors and other financial institutions.
    • Negotiate financing and credit arrangements to support the companys capital needs.
  • Cost Management and Inventory Control:

    • Oversee cost management initiatives to improve operational efficiency and profitability.
    • Implement effective inventory control processes to optimize working capital.
  • Compliance and Risk Management:

    • Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards.
    • Develop and implement risk management policies to mitigate financial risks.
  • Team Leadership and Development:

    • Lead and mentor the finance team fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
    • Provide training and development opportunities to enhance the skills and capabilities of the finance team.

Qualifications:

  • CPA required.
  • Minimum of 40 years of business experience including substantial financial management experience.
  • Strong experience in banking cost management inventory control and compliance.
  • Proven track record of driving financial performance and growth.
  • Excellent leadership communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and make strategic financial decisions.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
