Tax Accountant

• Preparation of Financials and Income Tax Returns of various entities including individuals partnership trusts companies and SMSFs
  
• Preparation of Activity Statements (IAS/BAS)
  
• Accounts reconciliation
  
• Preparation of FBT returns TPAR Payroll Tax Annual Reconciliation
  
• Identifying and assisting with tax research and advice on SME tax matters
  
• Assistance with yearend tax planning and advice
  
• Assistance with various cloudbased accounting software and bookkeeping queries
  
• Assistance with single touch payroll income statements superannuation workcover etc.
  
• Liaison with clients ATO other statutory bodies and stakeholders
  
• Assistance with the incorporation and set up of Companies Trusts and SMSFs
  
• Assistance with corporate compliance documentation including preparation and lodgement of all ASIC forms via BGL CAS
  
• Support for SMSF administration tasks such as rollovers and release authority.
  
• General accounting duties such as AR/AP bookkeeping and other adhoc administrative tasks as required
  

Requirements

• Bachelor s degree in Accounting Finance or any relevant field. CPA Preferred
  
• At least 4 years of experience as a Tax Accountant or similar role in Australian accounting industry
  
• Strong knowledge of basic and advanced accounting and financial principles and practices
  
• Demonstrable knowledge of preparing financial statements of individuals companies trusts and partnerships
  
• Exposure to SelfManaged Super Funds (SMSF) is a plus
  
• Outstanding working knowledge on GST BAS IAS & other compliance related function
  
• Excellent working knowledge on MS Office especially in Excel
  
• Adept with the accounting software Xero and Xero Practice Manager; knowledge in BGL MYOB and Quickbooks is nice to have
  
• Strong attention to detail time management and accounting administration skills
  
• Strong analytical problem solving and interpersonal skill
  
• Excellent written and verbal English business communication skills
  

• Setup and Location: Onsite Ortigas Center Pasig City
  
• Work Schedule: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (AEDT) 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM (PH Time)
