Job Description
We are seeking a Maintenance Electrician to support a leading global mining and metals company in Kingman AZ.
This is an onsite role and relocation assistance is available.
Job Summary:
The role of the Maintenance Electrician is primarily twofold to be a great team member who demonstrates high levels of ownership in everything they do and to ensure the success of the team by safely performing preventative and corrective maintenance on steel mill equipment and systems as well as proposing and implementing solutions to challenges in the steel making process and business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Display responsibility with work habits and has ability to hold other accountable for desired results.
- Be proactive with seeking out work that needs to be done and being willing to take on responsibilities and challenges.
- Encourage and build mutual trust respect and cooperation among team members as well as effectively managing and resolving conflict as needed while working in a coordinated effort with others to achieve a common goal.
- Identify problems and analyze or review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
- Use knowledge of servicing repairing adjusting and testing equipment systems and processes.
- Display proficiency in accomplishing tasks no matter how small they may be and taking care to make sure all expectations are met.
- Communicate and collaborate with others give full attention to what is said and communicate information so that others will understand.
- Consider the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one.
Requirements
Education:
- Associate degree or Trade school degree
Required:
- 4 years experience in an industrial electrical role.
- AC & DC motor knowledge and experience
- Power transformer knowledge and experience
- Programmable Logic Controller knowledge and experience
- Formal electrical safety knowledge and experience
- Operation of forklift mobile crane and/or other mobile equipment
- Experience performing preventative and corrective maintenance.
Preferred:
- Knowledge of Fundamental Electrical theory.
