Job Overview:
The Head of Operations will oversee the daily operations of the company’s Pizza outlets across Nigeria. This role involves strategic planning team management ensuring operational excellence and driving business growth. The successful candidate will ensure that all stores operate efficiently meet sales and profitability targets and deliver highquality customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Management:
- Oversee the daily operations of all the company's Pizza outlets.
- Ensure compliance with company standards policies and procedures.
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics including sales order count and ticket average.
Sales and Growth:
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and order count.
- Drive initiatives to boost average ticket value through upselling and promotions.
- Identify opportunities for local store marketing to enhance brand presence and customer base.
Customer Experience:
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service.
- Address and resolve customer complaints and feedback efficiently.
- Maintain high standards of food quality safety and hygiene.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead motivate and support a team of store managers and staff.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance team skills and performance.
- Foster a positive and productive work environment.
Operational Excellence and Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to operational standards including NSF audit requirements.
- Implement best practices for inventory management and cost control.
- Conduct regular internal audits to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Financial Management:
- Develop and manage budgets for operations.
- Monitor and control costs to maximize profitability.
- Analyze financial performance and identify areas for improvement.
Delivery Operations:
- Increase home delivery orders and ensure timely and accurate delivery.
- Optimize delivery routes and processes to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
- Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sales operations and customer satisfaction.
- Provide regular updates and reports to the CEO and executive team.
- Utilize data and analytics to inform decisionmaking and strategic planning.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration Hospitality Management or a related field. An MBA is preferred.
- Proven experience in a senior operational role within the quickservice restaurant (QSR) industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets and improve operational efficiency.
- Knowledge of local market conditions and consumer behavior in Nigeria.
