Construction Project Manager

We are representing a national General Contractor with extensive experience in federal design and construction projects. Their impressive portfolio includes federal and municipal buildings prisons courthouses and police stations. They are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager skilled in overseeing projects from preconstruction to handover specifically for Federal and State Courthouse projects.

What You'll Do:

• Lead with Excellence: Oversee every phase of the project from preconstruction to handover.
• Manage Budgets & Schedules: Develop and manage project budgets timelines and scopes with precision.
• Coordinate: Liaise with clients architects engineers and subcontractors to ensure seamless project execution.
• Quality & Compliance Ensure all activities meet safety quality and regulatory standards.
• ProblemSolve: Identify potential issues and implement effective solutions swiftly.
• OnSiter: Conduct regular site visits to ensure milestones are met and projects stay on track.
• Documentation : Manage all project documentation including permits licenses and inspections.
• Regulations: Ensure adherence to all federal state and local regulations.

What We're Looking For:

What We Seek in a Candidate:

• Educational Foundation: A Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline.
• Professional Experience: At least 10 years of experience in construction project management with a focus on projects involving federal projects particularly courthouse and prison construction.
• Technical Proficiency: Skilled in using Microsoft Office Bluebeam Revu SharePoint MS Project or other Project Management Information Systems (PMIS) is a plus.
• Certifications: Possession of industry credentials such as CCM and DBIA or a willingness to obtain them within a year of employment.
• Project Leadership: Demonstrated experience managing largescale complex projects particularly designbuild ventures from site acquisition to final turnover with budgets exceeding $50 million.
• Communication Mastery: Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities including the skill to present ideas clearly and build consensus among senior leaders.
• Leadership Excellence: Strong capabilities in cost and schedule management with a proven track record of driving projects and initiatives forward.
• Relationship Building: Outstanding skills in fostering and maintaining strong professional relationships.
• Organizational Talent: Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to work under pressure meet deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Passion and Determination: A demonstrable passion for the work with the energy and drive to overcome obstacles and push projects to successful completion.
