Description of Project

• The Minnesota Department of Information Technology Services (MNIT) partnering with the Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED) is seeking one fulltime resource to work on Workforce Digital Products MinnesotaWorks.net Replacement effort to build an MS Azure database backend and API integrations with legacy systems.
• At a high level the Azure Implementation Project Manager will oversee the successful execution of Azurebased projects from inception to completion.
• They will be responsible for planning estimating coordinating and monitoring project activities ensuring adherence to timelines budgets and quality standards. Additionally they will facilitate communication between crossfunctional teams provide regular updates to stakeholders and mitigate risks to ensure the successful delivery of projects aligned with the MinnesotaWorks.net Replacement project.

Sample Tasks

• Oversee the successful execution of Azurebased projects from inception to completion.
• Plan estimate coordinate and monitor project activities ensuring adherence to timelines budgets and quality standards.
• Facilitate communication between crossfunctional teams provide regular updates to stakeholders and mitigate risks to ensure the successful delivery of projects aligned with the MinnesotaWorks.net Replacement project.
• Provide knowledge transfer

Desired Qualifications

• 4 years experience in performing IT project management functions
• Experience reporting on project activities during all phases of the project lifecycle
• Experience managing all aspects of the design development and implementation of IT projects.
• Experience with managing MS Azure solutions
• Experience with integrating with legacy systems
• Experience with managing MS Azure database and API solutions
