Job Description
What you will be doing:
Maintain a hybrid role balancing direct patient care responsibilities with administrative duties
Provide clinical expertise and guidance to healthcare providers
Actively participate in patient care activities including consultations assessments and treatment planning
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
Allocate time effectively between clinical and administrative responsibilities
Lead and participate in multidisciplinary meetings committees and task forces
Oversee provider scheduling productivity and efficiency
Monitor and evaluate clinical performance metrics patient satisfaction scores and population health outcomes
Engage in physician recruitment onboarding and retention efforts
Foster a culture of continuous learning professional development and knowledge sharing among medical staff
Represent the organization in external forums conferences and professional associations
Collaborate with executive leadership department heads and other stakeholders to develop and implement strategic initiatives business plans and performance improvement strategies
Experience you will need:
Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school
Board certification in a relevant medical specialty (e.g. Internal Medicine Family Medicine Pediatrics)
Active unrestricted medical license to practice in the state of New York
Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role
Demonstrated expertise in population health management healthcare analytics and quality improvement methodologies
Strong communication interpersonal and leadership skills
Proven track record of building collaborative relationships with diverse stakeholders and driving organizational change
Commitment to equity diversity and inclusion in healthcare delivery and workforce development
Advanced degree (e.g. MPH MBA MHA) or certification in healthcare management population health or related field (preferred)
Experience working in a community health center academic medical center or integrated healthcare system serving diverse populations (preferred)
Familiarity with valuebased care models accountable care organizations (ACOs) and alternative payment arrangements (preferred)
Proficiency in healthcare IT systems electronic health records (EHR) and data analytics platforms (preferred)
