What you will be doing:

• Maintain a hybrid role balancing direct patient care responsibilities with administrative duties
• Provide clinical expertise and guidance to healthcare providers
• Actively participate in patient care activities including consultations assessments and treatment planning
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
• Allocate time effectively between clinical and administrative responsibilities
• Lead and participate in multidisciplinary meetings committees and task forces
• Oversee provider scheduling productivity and efficiency
• Monitor and evaluate clinical performance metrics patient satisfaction scores and population health outcomes
• Engage in physician recruitment onboarding and retention efforts
• Foster a culture of continuous learning professional development and knowledge sharing among medical staff
• Represent the organization in external forums conferences and professional associations
• Collaborate with executive leadership department heads and other stakeholders to develop and implement strategic initiatives business plans and performance improvement strategies

Experience you will need:

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school
• Board certification in a relevant medical specialty (e.g. Internal Medicine Family Medicine Pediatrics)
• Active unrestricted medical license to practice in the state of New York
• Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role
• Demonstrated expertise in population health management healthcare analytics and quality improvement methodologies
• Strong communication interpersonal and leadership skills
• Proven track record of building collaborative relationships with diverse stakeholders and driving organizational change
• Commitment to equity diversity and inclusion in healthcare delivery and workforce development
• Advanced degree (e.g. MPH MBA MHA) or certification in healthcare management population health or related field (preferred)
• Experience working in a community health center academic medical center or integrated healthcare system serving diverse populations (preferred)
• Familiarity with valuebased care models accountable care organizations (ACOs) and alternative payment arrangements (preferred)
• Proficiency in healthcare IT systems electronic health records (EHR) and data analytics platforms (preferred)
