Comaea Consulting has been retained exclusively for a new opportunity with a MNC in the shipping industry. Our client a global leader in the shipping industry is seeking a talented Data Analyst to join their dynamic team in Mumbai.

ORGANIZATION : This position reports to Senior Data expert in the company headquarters. You will support strategic and operational decisions through advanced data analytics ensuring our client remains at the forefront of the maritime sector. You will help implementation of analytical capabilities and various data points across the company s assets. This role is crucial for leveraging data for ensuring that the organization has a competitive edge in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Analytics Capability Development : Develop and implement analytics solutions in line with the Analytics Roadmap. Create insightful dashboards aligned with best practices. Continuously learn new techniques to benefit the organization.

Communication & End User Engagement : Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data needs. Draw actionable insights from data to address operational challenges. Drive dashboard adoption to ensure expected outcomes.

Team Collaboration : Work collaboratively with onshore and offshore IT team members. Communicate how your work contributes to organization goals in simple terms. Share knowledge and learn from team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor s degree in IT Computer Science Statistics or related field.
  
• 3 years minimum experience in Data Analysis in a MNC.
  
• Proficiency in SQL Python or R.
  
• Proficiency in business intelligence tools i.e. Tableau or Power BI.
  
• Experienced in creating dashboards and presenting data to stakeholders.
  
• Certification in Tableau Power BI or similar tools is preferred.
  
• Experience with Machine Learning AI Cloud(AWS/Azure/Google) and Big Data technologies(Spark/Hive/Presto) is nice to have.
  
• Experience working in or the knowledge of the maritime/shipping sector is a nice to have.
  
• Ability to meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
  
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.
