Siding Outside Sales Representative

Our client a roofing siding and windows supplier and installer is seeking a Siding Outside Sales Representative to join their team.

As a Siding Sales Representative you will play a crucial role in estimating material and labor costs for residential projects creating accurate bids and establishing and maintaining customer relationships.

Siding Outside Sales Job Responsibilities

• Accurately estimate material and labor costs for residential projects using software and industry knowledge
• Manipulate data from software to create accurate bids
• Establish and maintain customer relationships
• Communicate with customers to determine specifications for each individual project as well as outlining the scope of work before and during the estimate/project process
• Price work based upon labor calculations and pricing received from suppliers
• Organize documents and maintain accurate records
• Ensure all details are correctly included on bids
• Take accurate measurements
• Problem solve with the customers

Qualifications

• Background in both outside sales and building materials
• Specific siding experience in the residential market is beneficial but sales experience in building materials in general will also be considered
• Experience in estimating and working out labor and materials is a huge plus
• Strong hunter mentality as this role will eventually transition to a 100% commissionbased compensation structure
