Civil Construction Estimator

Our client is a premier Earthwork Utilities and Concrete contractor serving the greater Puget Sound region. They are currently seeking a highly motivated individual with experience estimating Civil projects as well as business development and networking ability.

Civil Estimator Job Responsibilities

As a Civil Estimator your responsibilities will include plan and spec review takeoff entry into HCSS estimating software final bid proposal to the customer as well as bid tracking and followup.

Qualifications

You should have experience with Bluebeam or other takeoff software be proficient in understanding Agtek takeoff reports and skilled with HCSS Heavy Bid software. Experience with MS Project is preferred.

It is important to have a comprehensive understanding of plans and specifications effective communication skills with owners subcontractors and suppliers and the ability to work well within a closeknit team. Attention to detail and organizational skills are also essential.

A degree in Construction Management is preferred along with at least 5 years of earthwork estimating experience or a highly referenced work history. Sales experience is also preferred.
