My client a leading 1st tier automotive component manufacturer is on the lookout for a dynamic Buyer. This is a newly created position offering you the unique opportunity to mold the role to your strengths and aspirations. This role is perfect for an individual contributor who thrives on negotiating and securing top deals for warehousing raw materials maintenance contracts and more. Youll be the key player in sourcing new suppliers and ensuring the best possible deals on goods and services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advocate for better deals on warehousing and raw material purchases
• Source and establish relationships with new suppliers
• Negotiate maintenance contracts
• Ensure the best deals on goods and services for the company
• Involvement in various facets of the purchasing function ensuring no pigeonholing

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree
• Experience as a Buyer in a 1st tier automotive component supplier
• Strong negotiation skills and a proven track record in securing advantageous deals
