Project Manager

General Description of Role and Responsibilities:

• Participate in the planning and formulation of design alternatives and solutions for the construction project.
• Communicate with the Client representatives continuously regarding Project Progress and areas of concern.
• Develop and administer project budgets and fiscal controls contracts and quality control provisions.
• Direct work sequencing to expedite project delivery and minimize disruption of ongoing operations. Inspects approves and accepts completed projects for the institution ensuring conformance with institutional standards building and life safety codes and architectural/engineering specifications.
• Researches and prepares various reports pertaining to operations equipment policies procedures and other issues as appropriate.
• Oversee all aspects of the daytoday management of the construction project.
• Ensure that project operations are in compliance with design specifications and client requirements.
• Informs themselves of the relevant Quality Environmental Safety and Occupational Health Policies Manuals and Procedures within Hill International and ensures continued compliance with these requirements while employed by Hill.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager/supervisor.

Qualifications Experience Knowledge and Skills:

• Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering Construction Management or equivalent degrees from an accredited University.
• A postgraduate degree in Engineering or an MBA will be considered a plus.
• At least 15 years of experience in similar roles in Project Management.
• Ideally a combination of Development experience and more traditional PMO experience.
• PMP PMI CIOB or equivalent certification is strongly preferred.
• Strong track record in delivering projects in a fastmoving and challenging environment.
• Proven experience in building & infrastructure and leading highperforming teams.
• Computer literate in Microsoft Office applications including Excel and Word.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English.
