SR PROCESS ENGINEER

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Process Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a key role in leading and executing process engineering activities for projects across multiple sectors.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead and oversee process engineering solutions for projects in oil and gas petrochemicals energy and utilities sectors.
• Conduct process simulations and modeling using software such as Aspen HYSYS PRO II or similar tools to analyze and optimize process systems.
• Perform mass and energy balances heat and material flow calculations and sizing of equipment such as vessels pumps and heat exchangers.
• Develop process flow diagrams (PFDs) piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) and process control narratives to communicate process design concepts.
• Participate in design reviews hazard and operability studies (HAZOP) and safety integrity level (SIL) assessments to identify and mitigate process safety risks.
• Provide technical leadership during the procurement construction and commissioning phases of projects ensuring compliance with design specifications and industry standards.
• Conduct site surveys and inspections to assess process performance troubleshoot operational issues and recommend improvements for optimization.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on process engineering principles and practices.
  
  KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering or related field. Masters degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in process engineering with demonstrated leadership capabilities preferably within the oil and gas petrochemicals or related industries.
• Proficiency in process simulation software such as Aspen HYSYS PRO II or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of process design principles thermodynamics and fluid mechanics.
• Experience with process safety concepts and practices including hazard identification risk assessment and safety instrumented systems.
• Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex process issues and propose effective solutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and clients.
• Proven track record of delivering highquality process engineering solutions within project timelines and budget constraints.
• Familiarity with project management principles and practices.
