Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic individual to join as our faculty for Assistant Professor in Online Education. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both teaching and online education with expertise in delivering highquality virtual learning experiences. The Assistant Professor will primarily be responsible for designing developing and delivering online courses as well as mentoring and supporting students in their virtual learning journey.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and deliver engaging online courses that align with the institutes curriculum and learning objectives.
Utilize innovative teaching methods and technologies to create interactive and effective virtual learning environments.
Provide timely feedback and support to students through online communication channels including discussion forums email and virtual office hours.
Collaborate with faculty members and subject matter experts to continuously improve the quality of online course content and delivery.
Assess student learning outcomes using appropriate online assessment tools and techniques.
Participate in faculty development programs and stay updated on best practices in online education.
Contribute to curriculum development and program assessment efforts related to online education initiatives.
Actively engage in academic research and scholarly activities related to online teaching and learning.
Qualifications:
A Masters degree in Education Online Education Instructional Design or a related field from a recognized institution. A Ph.D. is preferred.
Qualified candidates must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) for Lecturers conducted by the UGC or similar accreditation.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively engage and support online learners.
Demonstrated commitment to studentcentered learning and continuous improvement in teaching practices.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a diverse academic environment.
Research experience and a record of scholarly publications in the field of online education will be an advantage.
Preferred candidates from English/ Sociology/ Commerce/ Political Science/ Computers
