Position: Senior Full Stack Software Engineer
Salary Range: 2.500 4.000 USD/mo
Location: Remote Latin America only
Type of contract: Independent Contractor

Duties and responsibilities:
As a software engineer building a production software product you’ll produce design documents ready for criticism write front and backend code perform code reviews QA write automated tests fix bugs think through security holes etc.
Your daytoday work will focus on the product's feature set. The client's 3person product and engineering team brainstorms and debates items in the backlog and then projects are picked off with individuals taking ownership over pushing theirs forward to completion.
Requirements:
- Interest in working in a lively small team/startup environment that doesn’t have everything figured out.
- Have the initiative to work through challenges independently but know how and when to ask for help.
- Comfortable working in our tech stack: Tailwind / Typescript / React / GraphQL / MySQL / AWS / Jest Mocha Vitest.
- Care about user experience and have attention to detail to make software that’s a joy to use (with help from the design team).
- Not afraid of big PRs and large parts of the codebase changing quickly.
- Comfortable producing thoughtful design documents which the rest of the team will review critically.
- Communicate directly & efficiently in English.
- Have references who will tell us (A) that you’re a treat to work with; and (B) how great you are at building software.
- Experience scaling a startup; working in Eastern US time zone; and relentless optimism are a plus!
